Class Newsletter 10/10

This Week in Math

Place Value, Place Value, Place Value!!! We have been surrounded with place value all week.  We have also started rounding as well.  Please continue to have your child practicing multiplcation as well place value.  The development of their place value knowledge will help them throughout the year.  This is a foundational math skill that they need to obtain.

Moby Max is a program that we are using in Math as well as ELA.  A letter with your child's log in was sent home today.  After homework is completed or if you believe your child needs extra practice, have them go onto Moby Max to "sharpen their saw".  Your child took a placement test so that the program would give them customized lessons to complete.  If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

SOARing Citizens of the Week

Congratulations to Gabby Gonzales, Michael Tobe, and Jada Robinson for receiving the title of Soaring Citizens!! These students are awesome leaders who display SOAR characteristics on a daily basis.  They are students of great character because they do what is right regardless if someone is looking.  Again, congrats!
